Assistant Manager (m/f/d)

With the five established brands EXPERT®, HELU®, SOPAP®, NIMAK® and TÜNKERS® we have achieved a worldwide leadership position in the market. Together with automobile manufacturers, innovative solutions that are characterized by efficiency and reliability are continually developed.
The products of our over 50 years existing group are invented, designed, produced and marketed in-house. This is achieved thanks to our 1.350 employees worldwide, who can be found at 11 production sites and 22 sales offices in Europe, China, Japan, India, Latin America and the United States.
In the course of further expansion, we are looking for an Assistant Manager for our subsidiary in Kingswinford, UK.
Task Focus
- Mastering technical features of products and services being sold
- Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products and services
- Visiting customers and persuading clients, that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
- Building-up and developing UK customer network
- Responsible for projects and preparation of technical solutions for customers
- Providing pre-sales demonstrations and product education, and after-sales support services.
- Calculating client quotations, negotiating tender, contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
- Regular reports to the HQ in Germany.
Profile
- Mechanical background
- Work experience in sales or business development with technical products
- Independent, structured approach
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
- Good commercial skills
- Readiness to travel
- Above-average resilience, flexibility, negotiating skills and entrepreneurial thinking
- Experience related to Body in White is a big plus
